Nokia Accelerated Data Path (ADP) services module is designed for large and medium-sized organizations that need to respond to the evolving internet traffic patterns yet do not want the major disruption of an upgrade. By simply inserting the Nokia ADP services module into your Nokia IP security platform, workloads can be offloaded from the main CPU onto the ADP services module to increase performance up to 8 Gbps and gain small packet performance improvement of up to 3 times more. This "appliance within an appliance" ADP architecture functions similarly to a network co-processor freeing up resources to realize substantial efficiencies.
